This blog is run and written by 2nd Order Solutions. We are a credit consulting firm that provides world class lending solutions for financial institutions. 2OS has a great deal of knowledge that we would like to share with the public across data science, analytics, and industry insights. While we regularly release white papers providing deep dives into a variety of data science, analytics, and industry topics, with this blog we are striving to create something a bit more accessible. This blog will cover a broad range of topics to educate and provide a platform for lively discussion and meeting of the minds.
We post blogs every other Tuesday, with an alternating schedule of data science posts and analytics and industry posts.

Who is on the 2OS team?
Our partners, Scott Barton and Dave Wasik, are seasoned financial services veterans with deep credit risk experience. Both Scott and Dave have held executive roles in Capital One’s US Card business leading several areas including Small Business Card, Decision Sciences, Fraud, Collections and Recoveries, and Customer Management.
Our team is made up of some of the best business analysts and data scientists in the world. We strive to create a collaborative, high performing environment that promotes rapid development for our people while consistently delivering amazing results for our clients.
